hi I came across these in my search for coins for a family tree and being in Ireland I thought its a nice little collection for a novice like me. I apologise for no pictures as I'm still learning. these were graded as good-fine by a collector and going by some the gradeing here. the price of them was roughly $150.00 after euro conversion. I think the price was fair

Indian Head cents : 1880,1881,1882,1887,1888,1889,1890,1891,1892,1893,1895,1896,1897,1898,1899,1900,1901,1903,1904,1905,1906,1907,1908

Lincoln Cents ; 1910,1912,1913D,1916S/D/P,1917 S/D/P,1918S/D/P,1919S/D/P,1920S/D/P,1920S/P/D,1921,1923,1924S/P,1925S/D,1926S/D,1927S/D/P,1928S/P,1929S/P/D,1930S/P,1934D/P,1935S/P/D,1936S/P/D,1937S/D/P,1938S/D/P,1939S/D/P,1940S/D/P1941S/D/P,1942S/D/P,1943S/P/D,1944P,1951S/P/D

also with the other few coins I collected I'm working my way up the way, with uncomplete years so far, ill have 13 decades of cents collected.

all input welcome
thanks

Rest in Peace

To CCF , What you paid for that lot all depends on the condition of all those coins. that said ,the only LC that has any potential is : 1926-S . all the others including the IHC are basically common.
need to show us up close photos of your coins.

To the forums!

That is a nice start.

Just out of curiosity; what is a family tree coin collection?

I'd be very interested to find out how you are learning to grade with that wonderful group. A few nice grades will certainly help make that the start of a wonderful collection. Good luck, and most of us are always happy to help if and when you have questions.

Depending on the condition I wouldn't pay more than $70 for that...

Might be worth it but as already stated, depends on the condition of the coins. However, due to your location, any condition of those coins may be difficult to find. So, I'd say great start.

Hey folks thanks for the welcome.. I have a photographer friend who is going to help me with pictures.
the gradeing was done by the original collecter. He was an Irish/Americian priest who collected these back in the 1940"s so gradeing could be off. this also leads me to afew issues. they have been in plastic pouches stapled to cardboard for awhile and noticed some possible ED and afew spots appearing on them. is there anything I can do there? should I put them in other folders?

thanks

You should check the bottom of the reverse of the 1908 for a "S" mint mark. Those are rare.
