this is nearly - not believable - to me... in the interest of full disclosure - I did not receive this coin personally...my girlfriend did. she found it in her coin change, from receintly. she dosent know where - only that it was in her change coins - when she checked it.

i am assuming that some cashier must have thought it was a foreign coin - and was just passing it on, without someone knowing it.

anyway - a pretty cool change find.

Wonderful. As noted on the Forum in the past, I have many, many rolls of cull (worn or damaged) IHC that I try to spend whenever I can. I often wonder whether an eventual recipient recognizes it or just tosses it in a jar.

i know that the photos need to be better focus - but I compared this coin to PCGS photoguide...and I give the ofvers about , and the reverse about F10. I know it isn't a rare or high value coin - but its just fun to receive in change.

you dont live in souteast florida - by any change - do you? that is where it showed up.

I also live in South Florida but I've yet to find an Indian Head in my change.

Nice find!

As I've said in the past, I will gladly give any CCF member a free low-grade IHC for an SASE, though I'm not sure it makes any economic sense.
