All the last 4s appear to be notched. I think so! Except the 2nd one. They also have a slanted base.

I think that before saying they are, a search for markers should be made and a comparison of other features vs coppercoins. They do look promising.

You already know that I am much more of a novice at this than you are, so please take that into consideration!

O.K. I'll wait for more input because I am having trouble with these. Thanks for the help. I have 4 or 5 more to post and then another 150 or so to go through and see if there are anymore "possibles".

I look for the curvature of the letters in Liberty.

1, 5 and 6 look hopeful. Depending on the circulation damage. If the device is raised close to the upright, then it might just be damage that caused it. 1 & 5 are not in question because of the tail on the 9. But the last one doesn't show that. So it is questionable.

Guys I am a novice too but I have immersed myself in this stuff for about 10 hours a day the last 3 weeks, I'm retired so I can, I'd say heck no. Nothing but post mint damage due to years of circulation in my opinion.

The last set of 4 looks like 1-3 are DDOs and 4th one I'm not seeing it on that one. The tail of the 9 looks a bit wider, but the 44s are not showing the class 6 distortion. It get harder with circulated examples. On the ones with the mint marks it helps to ID them easier because of mint mark locations.
