First look it is just normal, it really presents many splits when double checking under a magnifier. Is it 1968D-1DR-001?

Hard to tell from pics but to me it also looks like the mint mark is to the right of what DR001's position so,I would say no

I agree now. That last set of images show the notching a lot better and the doubled FG as well. On the first images it look like damage on that area. Nice find.
