The mintmark is a little beat up, but I think there may be notching/split serif and maybe another D visible. I appreciate your opinions. Thanks.

With the damage on other parts of the mint mark, it makes me wonder how much was on the die. I can see where the post on the center of the mint mark has broken off. How much of that carried onto the outside edge of the mint mark. There also appears to be circulation damage on the coin as well. So it is a not known for sure what happened.
