I've used NGC and ANACS before, but I have a couple PCGScoins I want to submit in slabs, along with a anacs crossover and one for raw grading. I recently joined PCGS collectors at silver level to get submission rights. is it true that you have to submit each request on a different form with handling fees? Two reconsiderations, one crossover, one grading will be $174 plus $70 to join? on three different forms...hope the grades go to where I would like.....Thanks

Good question. Although I haven't submitted different types of grading in the same package, I had the same questions as you. Are there separate handling fees for each form, plus how is the return shipping handled/calculated? I'm sure someone will answer, plus you could give them a call.

Yes, they require them to be on separate forms, so you'll have to pay separate handling fees.

I believe you can send it to them in the same package, but I'm not sure. You would have to contact them to verify.

For return shipping, sometimes they can combine it. It depends which departments your coins go to. For example, I had a group of classics I was submitting at a show for them to send back to their office but also had 1 modern I wanted graded. I asked if they could be returned together, saving the separate shipping costs but they said no, bc they go to different departments, different places. You may have to contact them to talk specifics about where your coins could be returned together.

Yes every different submission type and / or level must be on seperate forms each with their respective fees. You can send all coins in the same package BUT they do not combined shipping. They will ship all forms back separately and charge accordingly. NGC however will combine shipping and send all back in one package.

Welcome to PCGS. The most expensive TPG in the game

Yep, a separate form (with it's own handling fee & return shipping fee) for each type of submission. It doesn't pay to grade one coin or one crossover. Wait until you have a few unless they are big dollar rarities or you need immediate results for some reason.

You can ship them all to PCGS in one box if that's any consolation.

thanks everyone ! looks like a way to milk extra money from collectors! I'll wait a couple months, and then maybe crack out my crossover to reduce to two packages ! Wow, wasn't happy with ANACS customer service, TPG's might just turn me off before its over...and I'm not hard to please.

If you really want them submitted soon, maybe you can find a PCGS dealer to submit them for you. http://www.PCGS.com/dealers/

Some of them submit often, so it would be easy for them to add yours on. They'll probably just charge the grading fees plus a little for shipping (to and from PCGS), which is less than you by yourself because they're sending other coins too.
