Thats a nice one sudz! I have a '94 and '99 modern day BIE listed on cuds-on-coins.com and I could swear I found a 2012 that I'm trying to find now see if its close to yours I may be mistaken on the year ill let you know...you should send yours over to JC-probably your pics are good enough they came out good

From what I understand, they are squeezing the dies together to make coins now. This is less stress on the die than the old method when they would hammer the one die into the other. This makes die breakage alot harder.
