That does appear to be a decent sized crack on a newer penny. Is that also a crack by the second T in states?

No, there's no crack there but it does look like it from the photo. I wonder what caused that crevice?

OK I was thinking if it was that you could probably follow the crack from one side to the other and it was the beginnings of a die break. But it's just a crack still a nice one. And if they used the die for a lot longer eventually it would be a die break lol
