S24 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 01/28/2016 2:55 pm Hi Possibly a dumb question (newbie here) but I was wondering: The United States mint website has the 2016 1 oz Buffalo coin listed for March 31 release date, and doesn't list it as "out of stock" anywhere on the site. This makes me think the coins are being launched March 31. Yet if I search various online coin stores I see the 2016 buffalo "in stock" almost everywhere. What am I missing? Unless the dealers can buy them before they go on sale to the general public which is possible. Report this Post to the Staff

It is only sold to Authorized Purchase dealers and NOT sold by the Mint to regular Joe's The collector proof W gold Buffalo will be issued by the Mint at a later date.
