Phone JM ask if they have the XRF or who might have in your area, then for sure you can match year and composition, it looks like you found a penny on foreign planchet or something cooler, or could be on thin Canadian planchet which is cooler, or contact SPP Ottawa if he would do it for you.

They are one of the larger bullion dealer in Vancouver one would think anyone in this business will have an unit due to many fakes, anyone in the bullion dept should be able to help.
