I really can't believe that someone would pay $21.00 for a 1963 Franklin half. With its mintage figures I would say that $5.00 to $6.00 should be it. I hate seeing people taken like this because when the buyer discovers the real value they get angry at the whole coin hobby.

I would like to think the ebay buying public is getting smarter. Shockerstudios is getting only a few low bids on his common coins with bloated grades. From the large numbers of coins "graded" by Gallery Coins & Grading Service, meaning all of his offerings, it would appear that s/he is her/his own grading company. What a novel idea...

Yeah, "The Gallery Coins & Grading Co." looks a little funny, but, hey, I bought a '62 Quarter for 6 cents and a '55-D dime for 6 cents! It will be fun when my grandkids try to sell an "MS67" quarter after they divvy up my stuff when I kick the bucket! Maybe I ought to put it in my will...They might even overlook the gold bullion I have stashed for the smart ones.
