is grease on the dies when the coin is struck?

seems like the grease would squeeze out?

Grease gets trapped in the devices of the dies. The filled dies then create a loss of detail/weak strike look in the area.

As a side note: Over time the grease can become solid, fall out and be struck into the next planchet. This is called a dropped letter
