As I travel around quite a bit, I'd love to hear of everyone's favorite coin shop or place to buy and sell. I'll start with my favorite LCS:
Low Country Coin in Charleston, SC.

Orlando Coin Exchange was great. The guy was super friendly. I picked through the junk bins for a while and had no pressure to buy. He even threw in some free coin tubes. Now if only I could go back!

This is proprietary information for most but I will give a shout out to Northern Nevada Coin (Broken CC) of Carson City. They're a high class operation with stunning inventory and an even more stunning personal collection on display

I have two for both my needs! Westlake Rare Coins for the higher-end stuff and very knowledgeable and helpful owner there and also Wendy's Collectibles for the spot-priced junk and foreign silver coinage! :D

Don't have one since most around me are excessive in cost. I go to all coin shows.

A number of CCF members go to, Flying Eagle Coins & More in Bay City, MI. Don and Carolyn the owners even opened the store on a closed day for CCF members. At the store the CCF had the, "Perpetual Set" there and viewed. Members who were present, bpoc1, stud722 and mcshilling. There are some photos which I can't find posted at CCF. Don and Carolyn are good people. They have shortened their opening and closing so check ahead.

AJPM - how do you work at a coin store and still bring home a paycheck? It'd be so tempting to buy everything good that comes through the door!

ABC Coins and Collectables in Omaha, NE is also pretty good... J&J Coins in Omaha, NE is awesome, and our YN director at the Omaha Coin Club actually works there ebay is great, not really a shop but more of an "internet flee market", if you will.

Hmmmm.... I have yet to go to a LCS in my area. COTW, have you dealt with DSS? I've heard some pretty negative reviews about them. Might try out ABC. A Coin Shop sounds pretty promising, too.

Quote: COTW, have you dealt with DSS? I've heard some pretty negative reviews about them. Ive gone to them a few times... They have two locations, and the one down town in "the hood" is the best. They prioritize their B&M over their ebay store, so if an item sells in their shop and on ebay at the same time they go with the B&M sale. That could be the reason you hear such bad reviews?

Nah, just people angry on Google Maps. Which location is in "the hood"? I'll probably check them out sometime soon.
