Check this auction, they seem to have a high volume, relatively decent feedback score of 99.2% but seems to me a lot of recent negative and mutually withdrawn.

I know their slabs are garbage, I'm looking more for proof Lincolns to fill my Dansco and Whitman albums. I would crack them out. I figure if I can get em for the right price, it may be worth it, but I don't want to wind up in a hassle.

Just wopndering if anyone here has experience with their auctions or company. Here is a link to one of their auctions - http://cgi.ebay.com/2000-04-S-PERFE...ES_W0QQitemZ a href= https://www.coincommunity.com/go/link.asp?target=https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/300194550054 target= _blank rel= nofollow 300194550054 /a QQihZ020QQcategoryZ31373QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem:

Thanks.

Everything they sell is PROOF-70 or MS-70!

I bought a lot of 10 slabbed coins from them before I knew any better.

One Jefferson nickel PR70 had a spot on Jefferson's jaw!

One Lincoln Cent PR70 had a scratch across Lincoln's head!

They were willing to accept a return but I figured it wasn't worth the hassle.

Do a search here on the forum & you will find alot of unhappy customers.

That is horrible feedback for a powerseller

My words for Abonscammer are not fit for a family-friendly forum such as this...

jbakic,

I've never bought from them and have read all the negatives on the forum. One thing that disturbs me about this seller, besides the slabs, is that the photos all look the same. It tells me that there may be some significant "photoshopping" going on. Look at two morgans and note how the fields all have the same patina ... it's uncanny!

That is exactly why I asked the question. I won't buy anything from them, though I do like the potential to pick up a string or multiple S minst cents for a potentially good price.

Thanks!

Here's a typical MS-70 aboncom coin:

Aren't they one of the groups suing ebay?

I've bought a couple from them, looking for a cherrypick. The serial number on the slab pictured matched the serial on the coin shipped both times. Both were AU coins in MS67 holders.
Rest in Peace

I have purchased a 3 dollar princess coin that later proved to be counterfeit. Avoid him like the plague.
