Hey everyone picked this up today, I absolutely love the toning on this coin, what grade would you give this? *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Certainly don't much about grading these, but that sounds about right.

Nice. Would like to see Commems opinion. I do have a 1921 type with in the same grade give or take with the posted pictures.

I had my eye on it for awhile but they had 80$ on it which was way over priced, finally I got him to take 40$ for it so I grabbed it up.

$40 seems fair for this one.

Authentic, problem free XF40/45 or so range.
Lovely beginnings of surfaces that I call 'circulation cameo'.
All fans of coins must enjoy the reverse image of the Mayflower fighting the seas on her voyage of exploration.
Your example is readily available as a circulated classic silver commemorative ...
PCGS has certified 32 examples of the 1920 Pilgrim at AG03 or lower ....
I've made the claim in prior posts that many eye-appealing examples of this series ... in honest circulated condition ... are available at reasonable cost and can afford anyone the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and history of the commemorative set.
You coin certainly appears to be such an example.

I would echo the comments of others and agree that your coin is a nice XF piece. I'll also note that with all of nickelsearcher's experience regarding circulated US commemoratives, you can trust his eyes for accurate grading.
Your $40 purchase price was a good deal!
In case you're not aware, the "D" seen below Governor Bradford's portrait denotes the coin's designer - Cyrus Dallin - and not a striking by the Denver Mint.
One of the first classic commemoratives I added to my collection was an AU 1920 Pilgrim. The design has continued to be a favorite.

Appreciate all the info everyone, and no I didn't know the d was the designers initial. I'm very happy with the coin. Thanks again everyone.
