I know this penny looks like heck. I'm just curios what caused it. I don't think it is a dryer penny because the diameter is the same as a normal LC. It does not appear to be rot cause the plating is still on it. Any opinions ?

Thanks folks. I had suspicions that it was but didn't want to toss it till I knew for sure. Rolled rims = Dryer penny.
