On the left is a "normal" 1943-D, the mint mark on the one to the right looks as if it is inverted. Mark above 3 also. Thoughts?

The one on the right is a bit corroded, thats all.

My picture taking skills aren't where they should be but it appears to me that the center of the "D" is raised (white dot showing light off the raised portion) and the letter shape is flat on the surface making me think it is inverted somehow.

I took a profile picture to see it better.
