I'm going to show a couple coins individually first: then side-by-side.
Guess what series of coins they are from.
When I place them both side-by-side one up, give me your comments on whatever you think.

Because of the source I could not improve on the clarity. Anyway, here's the 2nd one:

Or maybe a Classic Head Half Eagle?
And I can't really tell from the second picture what that one is.

I'm always challenging myself to find the same coin with possible variations of a same minute feature on two supposedly similar coins. It's good practice to use at auctions etc. In this case both photos are allegedly the same 1834 Capped Bust half dollar. Are these the same coin insofar as what should leave the mint? - Look at the adjacent curves connecting to both the upper and lower lips. - Is the outer side flap of each nostril within tolerance? - What about the eyelids' slope? - The curvature of the chin from the indentation below the lower lip extending out to the outer most point of the chin is noteworthy?

A 21 morgan on the darker one. The other I'm not exactly sure of but I'll say a seated, trade, capped bust or large cent lol

I wish to determine the authenticity of the coin on the left in the side-by-side shot. I feel 99% confident that the brownish coin on the right is authentic since its photo came from a PCGS slab listed on HA. The left one is questionable IMO but I am not an expert. This left one is not in a slab and came from a lesser known and smaller auction house that shall remain confidential for the moment. As I stated earlier both coins have labels that read '1834 Capped Bust half dollar'.
