1) I did a "google custom" search for a certain ebay seller, and the search engine found the post, but it won't take me to it.

2) I did a "standard" search for the same seller, and it says no results found.

3) When I do a "google custom" search and get several pages of results, is there a way to tell how old the post might be? I might not want to look at posts from 2010. It would be nice to see, perhaps, the date of the last post.

Sorry, but that thread has bee deleted, for whatever reason. Google is not yet aware of this.

And I don't think there's much control we have over post-dates in a Google search. I'd imagine Google would have some difficulty figuring out which numbers on a page are post dates.

Actually they can, they just don't do it all the time and there's no rhyme or reason to it. I've seen results say things like "Posted 2 days ago" or "Posted 18 minutes ago"

May I ask why it was deleted? There must be something about the operation of this board I don't understand yet...I thought posts like this were MOVED elsewhere (out of the counterfeit reporting area), not deleted. Just trying to learn how things work. Thanks.

It was deleted because it was posted after the item ended which doesn't help me.
