I have a unc 1954 5 dollar bill with a serial number 0000002. I was wondering if this adds value to the bill? Thanks for the help

G o to a library and look up a Charleton currency book it will have a price guide, if you have a devil's face note it worth a lot but a regular guessing 300 to 500 on condition.

This site (see below) will give you some base prices. If you post pictures, you will likely get some good estimates here.

According to Charlton Catalogue,
it has a book value of $200.00 in Unc. condition.
If it had been #1, it would have a book value of $2000.00.
Still a nice find though.
Rest in Peace

Great find. Keep it flat and protected so it doesn't bend and the corners remain sharp.

Should be stored in a banknote album page made of mylar or polypropylene sheet.
The same materials are used for stamp storage 'flips'.
Thin acetate clear sheet recovered from food storage containers OK too.
