Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 02/08/2016 9:42 pm This summer we're taking the high school kids from my church on a mission trip to a Bible Camp up in the Rockies in northern Colorado. We'll spend a week on work projects at the camp. Before becoming a Bible Camp in the 1960s it was a hunting lodge built around 1910, I believe. A few of the early buildings/cabins still stand. I emailed the camp director and asked if I could bring my detector along and search the grounds during my free time. He said I was welcome to do so. Now I have one more reason to look forward to the mission trip. The trip is in mid-July, so I have lots of time to daydream about what I might find . . . besides bottle tops from the camp canteen. Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 07/17/2016 11:38 pm I was at the camp up in the Rocky Mountains last week with the high school kids from church. Unfortunately, my wife and I both came down with a nasty stomach flu on the trip to Colorado and were sick for most of the trip. Not a great way to spend time in the Rockies. I did get out my detector for two short hunts around a couple of the older buildings at the camp, but other than a 1956-D Wheat cent didn't find anything of worth.
