1992-D Lincoln Cent Strange De-Lamination

I have found a 1992-D Lincoln Cent with a peculiar lamination issue. I have never seen anything like this before. Every detail of the reverse shows signs of what looks like delamination that shadows both the Lincoln memorial and the lettering. This also appears on the obverse, and is most apparent on the mint mark. What happened to this coin?

If more pictures are needed let me know, they were a bit tricky to get. Thanks!

It is not a lamination error. That is split plating. Those are zinc planchets that are covered in a very thin layer of copper. Sometimes the copper splits open around the devices and exposes the zinc below.

Thanks for the response! I thought for sure that the copper splitting like that qualified under delamination.
