I found this Wheat cent and it's well dark it's doesn't look copper like not to me atleast. It doesn't look silver or steel and I was wondering if it was something valuable or ... Anyways here are the pictures it's almost black but not really kind of purple I want to say but it not that either. I took these it different lighting hoping to give you a better idea what it might look light I didn't use flash in any though. Thank you very much for your time and help

it could be painted (doubleful) or environmental toning (more likely) on a normal cent.

I don't know if cents do this but I got a similar effect on a new dime thst got to close the burner of a electric stove. Turned black instantly after I shoved it away from it.

Weigh it see if it is plated with something
and if it is ever worth anything the oils from your fingers may devalue it

Weird , just guessing maybe plated or painted .

Common near iridescent toning that almost appears to plate the coin on many dug copper coins lost in an area with no salt in the soil.
