It does appear to be the well-known S/S based on the NE field area, at least to my eye.
Rest in Peace

Just so I know, this is not the horizontal s/s correct? The horizontal s/s means that the underlying "s" is rotated 90 degrees right?

I believe this IS the rotated horizontal S/S variety, as you describe. Do you think otherwise?

While the position of the MM apears to be about where it is on the RPM #2, I do not see the RPM on the closeup. Perhaps a shot not so close that has just the date and the mint mark straight on would be best to determine this.

Where are you guys seeing it at? The 002 is like the 1961-D I posted yesterday. The Other mint mark is very thin and well seperated.

The location, size, style even the slight tilt on this mint mark matchup identically-the metal flow seems to also the very little bit I think there is to even go by off coppercoins has been lost to circulation
