It's called a mistake. Human error. Clearly got into the wrong holder or there was a typo. It happens folks.

Yesterday I was on my Kindle when I looked at this, and I just wasn't able to bring the photo up enough to see it clearly. Thus, I thought folks that were calling it VG were nuts.

Today I looked at it again on my computer and I must agree, I was wrong. That thing isn't even a decent example of the date, let alone a XF. Maybe a VG as was mentioned.

I'm guessing this was simply put in the wrong holder. It's rare, but it does happen. If nothing else it gives us something to talk about, although I think there are far more examples of properly graded coins that the few errors that can be found.
