Found this going through a jar I change...is it worth any more than 10c? The last 2 in the date is so faint it is hardly legible.

More than likely grease filled the area where that last 2 should show. Grease filled areas on a coin are usually not considered of much value UNLESS a good portion of a design element were missing.

In your example only the last 2 is almost missing, which would make it worth very little above face value. If the entire DATE were missing, then that would be worth much more.

Struck Through Grease would be my guess too. I have a Kansas quarter that is also Struck Through Grease. It's missing a "T" in the motto, so it says: IN GOD WE RUST. You can see a faint bit of the letter T just like you can see a little of the 2 in your dime.

It is a Struck Through Grease error. They are interesting, but not real valuable.

I have a 2002 Denver dime with several disappearing letters and a missing 2. I saw that one reply said it might be worth something if a lot of letters were faded. Is this worth something? Advice appreciated. See picture below.

It's a more severe Grease Filled Die than the last one you had, but it still isn't severe enough to make the coin worth a significant amount. I would place the value at 30 cents.

SilverCents is being much more generous than I would be. Grease filled single digits are becoming more and more commonplace. I would assign a value of only a few cents above face, at best. The grease coins that are rare and worth something are the ones missing half the features of the whole coin. Some of those are stunning!
