Hey guys and gals.. New member here from Boise Idaho. I consider myself a young Numismatist and I enjoy the hobby very very much. I would like to see more collectors my age, though I know they are out there I'm use to seeing the older folks, although nothing is wrong with that just wish I knew some people my age that were as crazy about collecting as I am. I will be 26 next month.

I collect only American US Currency and although I do have a smaller collection of American coins I am MUCH more into collecting Paper money consisting of any and all US Paper money. I collect, Large notes, Small size notes, Fractional Currency, Confederate currency, Broken bank notes, and I don't have any Colonials yet, but soon!

I Typically buy majority of my notes online but occasionally I do go to the Local Coin Shop which is Rosehill here and I let my two young children dive into the inexpensive boxes of International Coins and Paper Money. I have a 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter and they love collecting... The wife... Not so much, lol

I am actually just beginning to join forums like this one, I will be joining ANA and SPMC in the near future. I would like to put together a Numismatic club here in Boise Idaho..

Anyways hello everyone!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Took the kids to grab some more international coins today (couple V nickels too :) and the wife came along, she actually grabbed her first notes, haha... 1953 and 1963 Red Seal 2 dollar bills.. Glad she is slowly warming up to the idea of collecting currency. She is very into antiques so I could see it happening.

BIG Welcome CollectorKing ..... Sounds like you have some plans ......

But yea a lot of us older folks collect, I've been collecting almost twice as long as you are old, I started around age 10-11, so like you I was looking at all the older folks thinking where are the young people?

Best to you and joy the forum!
