Can you give us a hint of what it is you think you are seeing? All I see is what looks like Machine Doubling and maybe some die wear.

BTW the correct term is variety. Copper Coins website is for die varieties. There are no errors on that website.

least I got one word right lol (doubling) wish I could get the die as well :) is it unique if I have 5 of them out of one of those burlap sacks from the mint?

You have one of the coins showing master die doubling. A large percentage of the coins from this year from all three mints show this. It can be seen on certain areas of the coin:
1972-S--LC-Whole-Coin
While there are doubled dies, they are so common they don't carry a premium for them. They are only identified as the term I mentioned. (Master Die Doubling) The doubling on the one you posted from coppercoins is on the tail of the 2 above the cross bar. The rest is master die doubling you are seeing on the 2. The listed doubled dies for this year are mostly not the ones with the master die doubling. Hope this helps?

Your coin does have a lot of distracting coin contact that is distracting you.
