2015 5 Cent Small Die Crack - Coin Community Forum

Paulsz Pillar of the Community Canada 2187 Posts	Posted 02/13/2016 12:49 pm Just adding on to my knowledge here: I was CRH and fell on this 2015 nickel that I thought had pretty clean fields (coming out of a roll of mixed dates). So I decided to inspect further and found this. Would it be considered a minor die crack? Or more in the range of Die Deterioration? moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 02/13/2016 3:02 pm Most die cracks begin at the periphery, but that certainly does look like a die crack. It would not add value to the coin, as it is quite minor. It would be worth saving. Report this Post to the Staff

Its probably worth 1.50 to those that collect these, I have a small box full of problemed nickels, as you can't really call most of these errors in the true sense. Report this Post to the Staff
