Just adding on to my knowledge here: I was CRH and fell on this 2015 nickel that I thought had pretty clean fields (coming out of a roll of mixed dates). So I decided to inspect further and found this. Would it be considered a minor die crack? Or more in the range of Die Deterioration? It's along the 2 I's in Elizabeth II
Most die cracks begin at the periphery, but that certainly does look like a die crack. It would not add value to the coin, as it is quite minor. It would be worth saving.
I wonder how big it got before the die got changed. Its probably worth 1.50 to those that collect these, I have a small box full of problemed nickels, as you can't really call most of these errors in the true sense.
