Looking for a grade on this. In an OGH and I think a good candidate for an upgrade. I think it has a good shot at 65. The luster is excellent. I have 65s that I don't think look this nice. The toning was hard to capture. The bit of color you see is throughout the crescent band evenly. Would appreciate some other opinions. Thanks.

Nice looking Morgan! Obverse crescent toned examples are hot and I think this may have a shot at 65. My only concern would be the left reverse field. I would try CAC first to see what they think.

Certainly a solid 64. I think it might have a good shot at a 65, too.

Think I will do reconsideration instead of cracking it. That way I get to keep it in OGH if it doesn't improve. Anyone have any luck with reconsideration tier from PCGS?

Cant help you yet. I have two there for reconsideration...looks to be an expensive risk..didn't look to me like there was an option to have them reholdered if they did not grade up...sure did not want a drop in grade if they were having a bad day :)

Reverse scratch probably would keep it from a 65, but easily a 64!

Bottom end 64, a remarkably weakly struck coin for an S mint of that date.

MS-64+. Would be 65 except for the reverse scratch. Love the crescent toning.

technically 65. I think it will get dinged a point for the uneven toning on the obverse. MS64
