Let's start off with this lot, because I bought two different lots from the same guy 252280277952Decent coins, an 1898 upgrade piece I believe for me, that coin is probably a $2-4 coin alone in VG or so. The best was the 1889. Looks to be about XF-AU details with obverse graffiti. Still has mint luster on it which shocked me. Got it for practically free. Then there's this lot. Just killed it on this one 252280286657$13.50 shipped on that one. 1895 is maybe a couple dollar coin and the 1899 is a junk piece. But the 1896, man, that's crazy. Reverse rim ding I'm not too fond of but I don't think it'll make details due to that. But it's still a solid VF-35 maybe XF-40 or so piece. One with more wear, and possible old cleaning IMHO sold for $63 shipped 381507236535Another one that was VF details with acid damage sold for $40 and $2 and some change shipped. Crazy deals are still out there.

Liberty nickels are not the most popular series so that helped and I'm thinking no one actually spent time and looked over the dates and the Seller did not highlight, their mistake, you scored big time!

I like the first one. Nice job with that 1889! You are a little too excited about that 1896. It is a solid VF-20 at best. And the one that sold for $63 was an anomaly. This one with far less wear sold for $19 shipped. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1896-LIBERT...047675.l2557

Hunting in the less popular series, such as the Liberty nickels, will almost always score some winners if you spend the time searching. Some of the longer series that do contain seriously rare coins, such as these nickels and the Three Cents nickels, and almost all Half Cents, are prime hunting grounds. Congratulations on your score with these and continued best of luck.

I disagree TC. I had it, according to photo grade, at a VF-25 maybe VF-30 if I'm lucky. I could get $50 if I tried, but I'm not going to bother, since I need one that nice for my dansco.

Haha, are you trying to say I endlessly scour ebay myself? Lol. I barely spend 20 minutes on the site a day lol.

Sorry. You must have a pretty good and efficient search algorithm.

Nice 1896 -- even circulation wear, original surfaces and toning. Solid VF20 IMO. An excellent pickup, along with the 1889.

I have bought (no auction action though) through Executive Coin before and they are good folks to deal with.

^^ Agree. I've bought quite a few bargain bin and regular coins from them and always been happy with the coins. Sometimes their "bargain bin" coins are actually quite nice.
