Wow this 1926-S Buffalo sold just a week or so ago on Heritage - Very Nice coin for the VF20 assigned ..... $235 plus ship so figure $245 or call it $250 if you round off .....

And now it is being Auctioned at ebay ..... Not sure this will work out for the Seller, maybe but it won't be me who bids ...... I've already got my 26-S and it is a little better than Subject Coin and I got it raw years ago for about $50 but that's another story back to the auctions ..... Here is ebay link ....

Money is in the Horn ..... Here is a partial horn, slightly better than subject but graded VF30 and it went for $235 plus ship too ... And that auction was January 2016, so very recent compare .....

Go figure!

I have been on the hunt for a handful of hard to find Lincolns - found a coin on ebay that had sold on Great Collections for around $290 in Nov. 2015 and seller just flipped it on ebay for $400, so it is possible.

Put the Buffalo on my watch list - will be interesting to see what happens.

Another possibility vs. flipping is that the buyer got it in hand and it wasn't quite what he wanted and so put it back up. I have a couple of those myself but holding onto them for now.

Has just a little over a day - 27 hours - to go and bid stuck at $113 ..... Coin has a long way to go for Seller to get money back let alone turn any kind of profit ....

Time will tell but I say coin goes for under what it sold for at heritage!

Sold on Heritage for $250 shipped and then buyer put in ebay and got $213.50 shipped ...... Seller lost over $50 all said and done, probably $65!

Flipping coins can be risky business!
