Is this a grease spot? I pulled it right from a roll.. found a few that this area looked a little gloomy and then bam.. this one.

acexallin hello if these are in a roll make sure you keep them together. nice find if I understand what you are saying. it is like a progression. that would like oh my. keep them together and list there order.

It is a progression, but in 1979, coins were shipped from the mint in bags and rolled at banks or security companies (e.g., Brinks). Those bags were fed by multiple presses, and fill by weight. The odds of finding sequential strikes in a roll, are very low...

Wow amazing and helpful info.. wasnt really so much a solid progression.. Like SPP says I found a few in the roll with strange kinda hazzy looking areas and then found that one that is in the same area. So yes.. not a perfect sequence.
