Hello.

I would like your opinions on this coin and whether you believe the toning is natural or not. Also any thoughts on a possible grade would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Ooh, that's a tough one.

I'd say it's natural and looks like an ms63 or ms64.

I am always suspicious of rainbow toning on coins. This can easily be done with heat. I have experimented with this to tell difference between AT and NT rainbow toning.

Having said that I would tend to agree with doubleeagle59 I think this one is NT. Not sure about grade...but beautiful NT coin.

Definitely natural toning , Looks like the coins from bank and trust company sets from the mid 60s . They were given out to customers for opening new accounts. Sone of them are gorgeous due to the sulphur content in the holders they came in.

If this is AT we're all in trouble. Very nice toner!

Awesome colors! I am thinking for putting together a collection of toned dollars. I bought a AT one last yr and its very vibrant compared to this one. The AT one can be rather obvious in the pattern and color.
