Hello all! I've been going through some old bank notes I had collected and decided to auction some of them. I'm trying to find info so that I can value them correctly.

I have 2 1000 Dinar Algerian Bank Notes, P-140 and P142B. (Not my actual notes, unfortunately I haven't got around to taking picture yet)

I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me info on the characteristics of the serial numbers. Are there certain numbers that people are looking out for? Where they printed on a certain date?

While on the topic on serial numbers, one of my notes. (A p142b) has a serial number: 0444994499, do you think I'd be able to get extra value for this?

Links to the history of Algerian currency from 1950 to current day would be greatly appreciated as well!
