Or I could go with something along the lines of 141665777892 and PM the guy and see if he'd take less since it's been up for over a year.

The $17 is a VF30-EF40 example.
The $50 looks like a AU58.
I got a great deal from my local coin store, $33 for a MS62BN. It could not help jumping to grab it.

Drew , I'm not too happy with any of your choices. My recommendations would be to wait until a nice EF-45 no problem, original brown color 1912-P Lincoln comes along.

XF 45. the wear above the ear and the severe mark on his mouth bring the coin down.
