Have any of you found a bill with one of those "Where's George" stamps on it? I ask because I am a very prominent Georger myself, with over 2,500 bills entered.

Have you found any? If so, show any of your wilds off!

Note: Do not use this thread to debate about whether or not Where's George is legal.

I used to WG a lot with about 1,000 or so notes entered and maybe 10 or so found in the wild. Haven't logged into the site in a long time after losing interest because of pretty bad hit rates. Love the concept but it has two things going against it... life expectancy of a note and lack of people re-entering the note.

I decided to login.

It has been a while and apparently I only ever logged in that one day.

haha, wow. I'll bet there are plenty of CCF accounts that look similar.

Just checked mine and I've logged on in the past year, probably as a result of another Where's George post.

I thought about checking when the 'Project $50K- Circulating "Where's George?" One Dollar Bills' thread was started, but never got around to it.

Have any of you run into problems with your family's opinion on stamping bills? I want to do away with 5 and 10 dollar bills in my house so the only bills are ones and 20s so I can exchange, which my dad is cool with, but for some reason, my mom isn't too keen on the idea of only using 1 dollar bills for purchases. I guarantee you, once I need to start spending money, I'll only use 1 dollar bills so that way I can enter more and therefore get more hits!

My mom does approve of me handwriting bills. My dad is generally cool about it too. I've actually gotten several hits in South Louisiana that way.

Look all you have to do is tell your Mom to tell anyone who asks, "Why I make all of my money $1 at a time" - after their jaw hits the floor, they'll never give you grief again :)
