Sorry, but both clips are genuine.

I'm not sure which one you think isn't genuine, but for the large one, look at the metal flow along the reverse edge. The small clip also shows the metal flow and proper tapering of the rim.

This is a perfect example of how not to post a thread.

The idea is there. The execution is what missed.

For a site that is focused on education, threads like this should be constructed as follows:

More appropriate title: "clipped cent or PMD?"

The thread would then show the coin in question and state reasons why it might be PMD and reasons why it might be a genuine clip. THEN, the poster could state their opinion on the coin in question.
