With some experience in the series ... currently own the #2 PCGS certified lowball Peace dollar registry set ...

This coin would come back likely at AG03 ... maybe an outside chance (un-likely) as FR02.

If you are asking this question to purchase in hopes of flipping to a lowball specialist ... suggest you pass unless you desire for your personal collection.

Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

Still a neat coin but I would say yes. Never was decent on grading coins under MS60.

Thanks for the info nickelsearcher. I've had this one for a few years now and I'm sure I paid less than 10 dollars for it back in the day.I'm just trying to get familiar with the term lowballler coin and see what this might grade at out of curiosity.

Same here.I never really tried to grade a worn down coin but I'm beginning to think about the history of these coins. If coins could talk the story's they would tell us

AG-3. It's less worn than my 1923-S, which seems to be right at the FR-2/AG-3 boundary.

(In case you wonder, I paid just a bit under melt back in the day... the day being April 2011. I really sucked at my timing on when I got a big load of cash and decided to spend it all on silver.)
