Back in the 1970's (I think) the US Treasury put out a series of medals commemorating historic customhouses around the US. I picked a couple of them up from the Bay and they're pretty cool. They're 1 5/16" and very similar to the mint medals included in old mint souvenir packs.

From a site search I found that twelve were struck, starting with NY, DC, Boston, San Francisco, et al. I'm just wondering if any of y'all collect these or have some they want to trade or sell. I don't even have a full info of how many came out, their locations, etc.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Yes - it's a nice, short set of medals. I do believe that you're right, that twelve were struck (including the 1 5/16'' and 3'' for the Georgetown medal), if I remember correctly. I don't have all of the specific information in front of me, but when I have some time I'll add as much info as I can.

Here is the list, in no particular order:

Galena
Wheeling
San Francisco (Struck at the San Francisco Assay Office)
Georgetown (Struck in 1 5/16 and 3 inch versions)
Providence
New York
Savannah
New Orleans
Yorktown
Boston
Galveston

Thank you! That's just the sort of info I was looking for.
