I have a 1937 Jan 2nd Bank of Canada dollar bill. The serial number starts with the letters F/M. Signatures are Gordon & Towers. It's in very good condition. I'm not a collector so I have no idea about it. Any information would be appreciated.

The F/M prefix had a full run of 10,000,000 notes printed, so it's a common note.

The value can range anywhere from $3 to $100 depending on the condition of the note.

try coinsandcanada.com banknotes section http://www.coinsandcanada.com/bankn...&id_denom=2) for an idea on "list or retail" to get an idea of what replacement would be {you can check their grading section to get an idea of how a collector would view the grade as well}
