Back in late Dec I asked the CCF for opinions on a raw 1886S I had just purchased. Just came back from grading and here are the results(CCF estimate AU58-MS62):

Well least it is problem free....if your ever wanna sell it I'd cross grade it to PCGS or NGC and see how it does.

ANACS 61 seems fair to me.

Doesn't show any wear, but doesn't have the flash associated with what would be needed for a higher grade

This is one of those coins that would end up getting that washed out look after getting a couple of dunks in Jewel Lustre.

Nice coin, it is what it is and enjoy it AS IS for years to come.

Sorry, I agree as well. Such an opinion discrepancy is one reason ANACS slabs usually bring less money than the other two major TPGs, imo.
