Are All Toonies In These Sets German Planchets?

Smallcentguy Pillar of the Community Canada 1984 Posts	Posted 03/02/2016 10:33 am I doubt that that set has much extra value as a set so I would not fret about opening it. German toonies in high grades are scarce and of value. I sold one....I think it was certified MS65.....for something close to $100 as I recall. But US$100 for the set with the coin in what looks like MS60 - 62 seems kind of high to me. Hard to tell from the photo if it is a German planchet. Perhaps the toonie experts will chime in. You need really good lighting conditions and the coin in hand to do so.
