I bought a collection from someone today and discovered this marked as a bald Buffalo nickel... First is it really an error coin? If so value?

This coin suffers from the effects of being buried or submerged in an aggressive environment for an extended time.

Serious case of post mint damage.

Stick a magnet to it, I bet that it is a steel popout from an electric box and not a coin at all.

Regardless of the fact that it isn't a coin, I may have dreams about hairless Buffalos tonight.
