Hello everyone! After lurking for a little while, I decided to become a member and start contributing to the community! I started collecting coins in the late 90's, when I was about 11 years old (right around the start of the 50 State Quarters program). Since then, I've collected coins from circulation on and off. A few years back, I inherited a small part of a relative's collection (basically, everything that "wasn't worth going through the effort to sell" ... I ended up with a lot of 2005 MS65 Cents, but a few goodies too). After spreading myself too thin with hobbies, I decided to sell off a bunch of hobby stuff and focus on coins, so here I am! Currently, I am in Indiana, where I am completing my coursework in Elementary Education, but we are planning on moving somewhere WARM after I finish my student teaching. Looking forward to interacting with many of you! |

I remember my dad asking me when I was 18 and just graduated High School mid-term if I wanted to stay down there and I told him.... NO, way to hot for me... Back at Christmas I was down there on vacation and we had to run the AC almost everyday because it was very warm and humid... I was glad to get home and enjoy some cooler weather... Since it was too warm the oranges never sweetened and tasted bad... Where are you looking at to move down there?... Edited by Bryan78

Hopefully southern Florida, on the Gulf Coast. Anything south of Sarasota would be wonderful for us!
