1948 P are notorious for weak strike but if this was uncirculated should appear brilliant with frosty surfaces. I don't see that at all although I do see maybe a little mint luster on the reverse? The hair could just be a very weak strike with little to no wear; its hard to tell. I can't see if there is any wear on the high points of the cheek or Monticello either although again, from the pictures and as noted by others previously, I can't tell due to the photos.
I'm going out on a limb in the absence of good picture lighting and say; Weakly struck with some wear on the high points. A little remaining mint luster. = AU55.
