I found one of these in a cello this morning and thought it might be trails?
1960-Proof-Jefferson-Nickel-Trails?
Maybe BJ will see this one. I value his opinion on this one.

I agree. BJ posted some early trails at his site. I seem to recall a statement that trails have been around for a very long time. I had assumed before that trails were a more recent phenomenon, say around 35 years.

Certainly one of the earliest dates I've seen with trails. I think the oldest I've got is 1975.
