Later this month I plan to get a second camera( after passing on my spare camera to my daughter I have found it annoying with out one) I am planning on the OLYMPUS OM-D E-M10 MarkII. However every so often my eye gets drawn to the Pen F. Twice the price of the M10 but with features that are very tempting(Although with owning the sony I don't think I will get it):

1. No anti Aliasing filter
2. HI resolution mode using sensor shift( 50 MP+ pictures)
3. 5 axis image stabilization
4. I assume it also has the in camera focus stacking facility( Olympus calls it Focus bracketing)
5. I also Assume it has EFCS.

There are negatives... no tethering for one.

being a micro 4/3rds camera the sensor is small and the 20mp sensor may be a challenge however the smaller sensor means lower magnifications with a resultant greater DOF.

Has any one used one in coin photography?
Any opinions?

here is one review.

It is an impressive camera. I think last year was the cross over point with Mirrorless cameras and DSLRs. The indications are the Mirrorless will start to outperform DSLRs from now on. With the Sony A7rm2 there was a match to DSLRs, particularly with the new sony lenses out now the Sony is now on even footing with top end DSLRs for focus speed, low light performance and tracking moving subjects.

This Olympus is another step. I am sure in 2016 more Mirror-less offerings will really challenge the traditional DSLR, Even Canon is planning on bringing an effective mirror-less to the market.Canon in announcing the plan said they aim to ultimately dominate the mirror-less market. Interestingly they plan to keep their current mount ensuring their full lens line is compatible with the planned camera. Nikon has even taken a few "verbal" shots at mirror-less indicating to me( in my profession) that they are noticing the new environment. I won't be getting the Pen F with the A7rM2 it is just not worth it , for me, but it is an impressive offering.
