Franklins are by far my favorite, and a big focus in my collection. Got this beaut at a great deal from a gentleman on this forum.....had to share :)

I always recommend the Franklin series as one of the first ones to collect. You learn about strike from the reverse FBL or not, you learn about grading with those huge open fields and you have the good fortune of working with a large silver coin with no mean killer keys.

No killer keys. Depends on what you consider kiler. Also depends on what you consider a whole set. I been starting a collection of these but with all transitional varieties. The 1956 proof type 1 isn't the easiest to come by for less than $200 . and to find anything cameo is a bear. My style is cherry picking so I save money but it takes more time. I just got a 1958 regular strike type 2 in xf condition but its been hard to find them in anything better.

I just got an uncirculated Business strike 58 type 2 today for dirt cheap . I'm falling for these things I really love all transitional varieties though.
