I came home from the ANA show with some cash in pocket so.... These are the seller's pictures. I don't have the coin in hand yet but it's in the air on it's way. Any bets on which VAM this is? I guess this is kind of the VAMmers version of an unsearched roll.

As it turns out, yes. A rather nice EDS specimen without the die crack above the mm and as full an E clash as this one comes in.

Good one Dave. Too bad it had the "M" gouge inside the ear. Otherwise, a 22A would have been "You S..." time! These are very common down here on the Gulf Coast (maybe due to the proximity to the NOLA Mint. Still, I always am looking for the clash above the bonnet. PG

That's why I took a shot Charlie. I couldn't see that pesky little M in her ear. I already had a V36A but it's a LDS with a very faint E.

Another couple things to look at when hunting down the V22A are the forehead hair and the designer's initial if you can't tell for sure if there is an "m" in the ear or a mole on the nose. The V22A has "polished" hair at the forehead rather than being full, and also has a polished initial rather than being full. I think I posted a lot of photos on the 36A page that should this... key words "I think!"

Finally got a chance to take some photos. The middle of the week was a little crazy living off a back up generator for limited power.

You can never go wrong with an 1883-O ;) Nice EDS V36A Dave! No turning and spinning the coin to see the E on that one.

Keep on hunting that 22A ;)
